Hello everyone the following email has been sent through USA Hockey to all Arizona registered players, which makes you a Member of AAHA. We can not emphasis enough the importance of your voting on this this matter or at least give someone your proxy to vote and the time is critical.
A minimum of 10% of the eligible voters must submit votes, either directly or through their formally announced proxy, to validate this action, so something approximating 1,000 votes are needed..... so please take 15 minutes and vote or declare your proxy......
If we do not receive that 10% number we will have to do another mailing so PLEASE take 15 minutes, down load the ballot, sign it verifying your vote, scan/photo it and return it, this is critical to Arizona Hockey.

As the USA Hockey Affiliate for Arizona, Arizona Amateur Hockey Association (AAHA) continually looks for ways to further the development and administration of amateur ice hockey within Arizona. As the new season approaches, the Board of Directors has proposed revisions to certain governing documents of AAHA. The goal of the proposed revisions is to better reflect AAHA's established operations and to clarify its leadership structure. A copy of the proposed document, a summary of the changes, and related voting materials are linked below:
As a Member of AAHA, you are entitled to vote on the proposal and are invited to attend the Special Meeting of the Members of AAHA on September 16th, 2019 p.m. at Ice Den Scottsdale, which shall immediately precede the Annual Meeting of the Members. The Board recognizes that not everyone can or wishes to attend the meetings of AAHA. Therefore, we encourage Members to either cast their ballot in advance or nominate a proxy to exercise your vote at the meeting. Each Member is entitled to one vote, if more than one Member utilizes this email address, please remember to return a ballot for each Member.
Please print the attached ballot, indicating your vote, scan or take a picture with your cell phone, sign and date, and return to AAHA's Board Secretary, Kristy Aguirre, via email to secretary@azamateurhockey.org, hand deliver, or mal to 7225 W. Harrison Street, Chandler AZ 85226 on or before September 11, 2019. Alternatively, if you do not wish to cast a vote, you may use the same form to elect a proxy to vote on your behalf.
