It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our colleague and friend, a longtime Arizona hockey advocate, Jim Rogers. 

Jim’s accomplishments and contributions to the sport of ice hockey in Arizona can be traced to his roots as a respected coach, veteran facility owner and dedicated volunteer on the AAHA State Board. The immeasurable impact he leaves behind will be felt in the state at all levels of hockey for countless years to come.

While we mourn the untimely passing of a friend, colleague, and mentor, let us all celebrate the untold contributions, accomplishments, and fond memories of an amazing steward of our great game. 

Our deepest sympathies go out to Jim’s family. The thoughts of the entire hockey community are with you during this most difficult time.
