Arizona Amateur Hockey Association (AAHA) is very pleased to announce the inaugural 8U Mite Select State Championship tournament, this it's inaugural year being hosted in Flagstaff, March 4th and 5th, this should be a very exciting, action packed and fun weekend of hockey.

Putting this together has been no small feat and take the combined efforts of a number of very dedicated people.

The tournament format is a half ice 20 minute game and each team in the Track 1 and Track 2 groups will play each other team in their respective divisions once with a Semi-final and Championship game in each division.

Track 2 will take place on Saturday, Mar 4th, starting really early, you have to definitely be a dedicated player and "parent" for the times of these games, but they are and excited to be that dedicated.

Track 1 will start on late Saturday afternoon/evening and run all day Sunday.

So anyone truly interested in when the love the game is developed you need to get out and see these players, it is maybe the truest time in the development of the love of the game, this is truly the start of it all.

Below are the schedules for the two days and for the Track 1 and Track 2 divisions, score is not kept in the traditional way so there will be no results posted here, but any information we may be able to get will be updated.

So truly try and get out for some of this action it looks to be and should be a lot of fun.
