During the first weekend in March Flagstaff Youth Hockey Association’s 10U and 12U Humphreys teams traveled to Indiana and participated in the Shamrock Shuffle tournament at Notre Dame University.  The tournament was participating in by over 40 teams from across the country.  

The 12U Humphreys team went undefeated in the round robin portion of tournament play and  played in the championship game of the 12U PeeWee division. The game was played in the Notre Dame University Ice Arena, very exciting experience where they defeated the Bloomington Thunder 3-0 and brought home the banner.   

The 10U Humphreys team went  3, 0 and 1 in the round robin portion of the tournament also making it into the Championship game of the 10U Squirt division.

They played PSM Force Blue in what was a very hard fought game falling behind in the first period 3-1.  They stage a strong come back over the 2nd and 3rd periods taking a lead that they would stretch to a 6 to 4 final win. Thus also bringing home the Championship banner.

Congratulations to both teams for a great showing and great tournament win as part of the season end.
