Save the date for a 2020 Officiating Seminars

USA Hockey opened officiating registration for the 2020-21 season on June 3rd. Along with the registration, the 2020-21 season brings a new method for the Officials seminars. If you'd like to be a referee for the 2020-21 season make sure you go to the USA Hockey Officials Program tab on the USA Hockey web site to register to get certified.

Please visit for more information on the registration process and its requirements and additional links to get registered.

Note that there is no minimum age to become an official, however we do recommend that potential officials wait until the age of 15 or 16 before registering to be a referee. History has shown us that new officials waiting until the age of 15 or 16 to before start officiating have a much better experience and are much more likely to return for a second season.

If you have any questions abut the USA Hockey registration process for officials please reach out to Bryan Eisentraut, Arizona's Supervisor of Officials for USA Hockey at Bryan.Eisentraut@gmail.com.
